The Philippine Diver magazine started life in 1986 as an eight-page, two-color newsletter covering the SCUBA diving scene in the Philippines. In 1987, it was put "on the shelf", but was revived in 1993 in a glossy, full-color format, packed with information, stories and articles of relevance to SCUBA divers and other sports persons visiting the Philippines. 8,000 copies are distributed free quarterly through outlets around the world and by paid subscriptions.
